a theatre, film & pop culture review
So bad, they’re good, and so good – they’re back.
Tracee Chimo, Philip Ettinger, Michael Zegen and Molly Ranson portray the three titular abominable Jews occupying Roundabout Theatre Company’s reprisal production of last year’s hit by Joshua Harmon. I didn’t catch that previous incarnation at the Roundabout Underground, but let’s assume not much has changed in the move upstairs to the Laura Pels Theatre. “Bad Jews” is one little black comedy—about faith and assimilation, grief and family and the haves and the have nots —with a whole lot of bite.
